About our Chef
My name is Rae (short for Rachael), and I love to share what makes me the happiest.
I am professionally trained and working professionally for over ten years. I've spent time in country clubs, fine dining, Gillette stadium, corporate accounts, catering. I spent a long time in allergen cooking/baking. I pride myself on minimizing cross-contamination as I have allergies and know how tough it can be.
I've been baking/cooking since I could hold a rolling pin as a toddler. My best memories are cooking side by side with my grandmother using the tools my grandfather made her in Germany, preparing meals with my father, and the beautiful cakes my mother made. I have found immense comfort in cooking. Though they've been gone since I was a young kid, it keeps me close to my memories with them.
I utilize local vineyards, local breweries, off-the-dock seafood on the Cape, meats from Lilac Hedge Farm, as well as any local produce I can get my hands on.
